TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CERAMIC MASTERCLASS AND WORKSHOP BOOKINGS

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the booking and participation in ceramic masterclasses and workshops (the “Courses”) offered by The Waldron Gallery & Studio Ltd (“The Waldron,” “we,” or “us”). By booking a place on one of our Courses, you (“the Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

All bookings must be made through our website or via direct contact with The Waldron.

1.1 Payment in full is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the Course.
1.2 You will receive a booking confirmation email once payment has been processed. This confirmation acts as proof of your reservation.

2.CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

Cancellation by the Participant
2.1 Once a course is booked they cannot be cancelled unless we are able to fill your place with another another Participant.
2.2 We will do our upmost to find a replacement from our waiting list.  If we are unable to fill your place, no refund will be issued.  If we secure a replacement a full refund will be issued.
2.3 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected].

Non-Attendance

2.4 No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for non-attendance due to illness, travel disruption, or any other reasons beyond your control.
2.5 You may transfer your booking to another Participant if you are unable to attend, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before the start of the Course. Transfers are subject to our approval.

Cancellation by The Waldron

2.6 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any Course. In the event of cancellation or significant rescheduling, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to a future Course.

2.7 If we need to cancel the Course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, illness of the tutor), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund.

3. TRANSFERS

3.1 If you are unable to attend the Course and wish to transfer your booking to a later date or a different Course, you must notify us at least 28 days before the start date of the original Course.
3.2 Transfer requests within 28 days of the Course start date will be subject to availability and the conditions outlined in above.

4. LIABILITY

4.1 The Waldron is not responsible or liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal belongings that occurs during your participation in the Course, except where such injury, loss, or damage is caused by our negligence.
4.2 We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivering the Course that is beyond our reasonable control, such as strikes, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.

5. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 The Participant agrees to adhere to the health and safety guidelines provided during the Course. 5.2 The Participant must ensure they are physically able to participate in the Course. The Waldron does not offer medical advice and is not responsible for determining the Participant’s ability to engage in the activities.
5.3 The Participant is responsible for arriving on time. We reserve the right to refuse entry to latecomers if this disrupts the Course.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA USE

6.1 The Waldron may take photographs or record video footage during Courses for use in promotional materials, including our website and social media channels.
6.2 If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform us in writing prior to the start of the Course.

7. DATA PROTECTION

7.1 By booking a Course with The Waldron, you consent to us storing and processing your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
7.2 Your personal information will only be used to process your booking, manage your participation, and send you information regarding future events if you have opted into our mailing list.
7.3 We will not share your personal data with third parties without your express consent, except as required by law.

8. GIFT VOUCHERS

8.1 Gift vouchers purchased for our Courses are non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of the purchase date.
8.2 Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable unless agreed by The Waldron in writing.

9. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

9.1 These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS10.1 The Waldron reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of posting.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PURCHASER OF CERAMIC EXPERIENCE DAYS/HALF DAYS

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the purchase of gift experiences for ceramic experience days or half days (the “Gift Experience”) at The Waldron Gallery & Studio Ltd (“The Waldron,” “we,” or “us”). By purchasing a Gift Experience through our website, you (the “Purchaser”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. PURCHASE AND VALIDITY
    1.1 Gift Experiences are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
    1.2 It is the responsibility of the Purchaser or the gift recipient (“Recipient”) to contact The Waldron to book their ceramic experience day or half day.
    1.3 The Gift Experience must be redeemed within the 12-month validity period. Expired Gift Experiences will not be accepted, and no refunds or extensions will be given.
  2. BOOKING THE EXPERIENCE
    2.1 The Recipient must contact The Waldron directly to arrange their booking. Bookings are subject to availability and must be made in advance. Contact should be made at [email protected].
    2.2 The Gift Experience code must be provided at the time of booking.
  3. DELIVERY AND USE OF THE GIFT EXPERIENCE
    3.1 Upon purchasing a Gift Experience, a confirmation email will be sent to the Purchaser with details of the Gift Experience, including the Gift Experience code.
    3.2 Gift Experiences may also be delivered electronically to the recipient if requested.
  4. NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE
    4.1 All Gift Experiences are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Once purchased, Gift Experiences cannot be returned for cash, and no credit will be issued.
    4.2 Gift Experiences cannot be transferred or sold to third parties without our prior written consent.

    5.1 Once a booking has been made using the Gift Experience, The Waldron’s standard cancellation policy applies. The Recipient must give notice as outlined in the booking terms in order to reschedule their experience.

    6.1 The Waldron is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Experiences, and no replacements will be issued.
  7. LIABILITY
    7.1 The Waldron accepts no responsibility for any loss or disappointment resulting from the Purchaser’s or Recipient’s failure to redeem the Gift Experience within the validity period.
    7.2 The Waldron reserves the right to amend these Terms without prior notice to the Purchaser.
  8. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
    8.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

3. DELIVERY AND USE OF THE VOUCHER

3.1 Upon purchasing a Gift Experience, a confirmation email will be sent to the Purchaser with details of the order, including the order code.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE

4.1 All Gift Experiences are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Once purchased, Gift Experiences cannot be returned for cash, and no credit will be issued.
4.2 Gift Experiences cannot be transferred or sold to third parties without our prior written consent.

5. CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS

5.1 Once a booking has been made using the Gift Experience Order Number, The Waldron’s standard cancellation policy applies. The Recipient must give notice as outlined in the booking terms in order to reschedule their experience.

6. LOSS OR DAMAGE

6.1 The Waldron is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Experiences , and no replacements will be issued.

7. LIABILITY

7.1 The Waldron accepts no responsibility for any loss or disappointment resulting from the Purchaser’s or Recipient’s failure to redeem the Gift Experience within the validity period.
7.2 The Waldron reserves the right to amend these Terms without prior notice to the Purchaser.

8. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

8.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PURCHASER OF GIFT VOUCHERS

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the purchase of gift vouchers for  (the “Voucher”) at The Waldron Gallery & Studio Ltd (“The Waldron,” “we,” or “us”). By purchasing a Voucher through our website, you (the “Purchaser”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. PURCHASE AND VALIDITY

1.1 Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
1.2 It is the responsibility of the Purchaser or the gift recipient (“Recipient”) to use their gift voucher within 12 months of purchase.
1.3 The Voucher must be redeemed within the 12-month validity period. Expired Vouchers will not be accepted, and no refunds or extensions will be given.

2. USE OF VOUCHER 

2.1 The Recipient must use their voucher when making an online booking or product purchase at the time of purchase, a voucher cannot be applied post purchase. .

2.2 The Voucher code must be provided at the time of booking.

3. DELIVERY AND USE OF THE VOUCHER

3.1 Upon purchasing a Voucher, a confirmation email will be sent to the Purchaser with details of the Voucher, including the Voucher code.
3.2 Vouchers may also be delivered electronically to the recipient if requested.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE

4.1 All Vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Once purchased, Vouchers cannot be returned for cash, and no credit will be issued.
4.2 Vouchers cannot be transferred or sold to third parties without our prior written consent.

5. CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS

5.1 Once a booking or purchase has been made using the Voucher, The Waldron’s standard conditions of purchase apply. The Recipient must give notice as outlined in the booking terms in order to reschedule a experience, masterclass, workshop.

6. LOSS OR DAMAGE

6.1 The Waldron is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Vouchers, and no replacements will be issued.

7. LIABILITY

7.1 The Waldron accepts no responsibility for any loss or disappointment resulting from the Purchaser’s or Recipient’s failure to redeem the Voucher within the validity period.
7.2 The Waldron reserves the right to amend these Terms without prior notice to the Purchaser.
