Full Day Pottery Experience: Wheel Throwing & Hand-Building

The morning begins with a warm welcome, tea, and coffee, followed by an introduction to hand-building. You’ll learn techniques like slab and coil building to create unique pieces such as a mug or bowl.

A delicious home-cooked lunch offers time to relax and enjoy the inspiring gallery space before the afternoon session focuses on wheel throwing. Our expert instructor will demonstrate techniques such as wedging, centering, and lifting clay on the wheel. Then, it’s your turn to get hands-on, crafting your own bowls or cylinders with step-by-step guidance.

Afternoon refreshments punctuates the day, giving you a chance to recharge before refining your creations. By the end of the experience, you’ll select one or two pieces from both techniques to be glazed and fired in our studio. These will be ready for collection or delivery (postage fees apply).
