Helen’s love for ceramics began in childhood, working alongside her grandmother, a potter in Cornwall. Following a 25 year career in marketing and events, Helen’s creative path led her back to ceramics in 2018, when she began classes at Forest Row School of Ceramics. There, she reconnected with her passion for clay, ultimately undertaking the full-time course, where she also met Thea, co-founder of The Waldron.

Helen’s own work draws on the rugged landscapes of the west coasts of Ireland and Scotland, where weathered rock formations, wild seas, and resilient coastlines serve as a constant source of inspiration.

In establishing The Waldron, Helen has combined her love of ceramics with a passion for bringing people together to share and inspire creativity.
